Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Camp – SciTek Quest

Project Description
The SciTek Quest camp is a week-long, overnight camp for 16-18 year old junior and senior high school students that focuses on engineering, technology, aerospace and environmental programs.
The camp is designed to provide exposure and promote understanding of career opportunities and skill requirements in STEM related fields through onsite experiments and visits to area colleges, universities and businesses.

Outcome from Using the Product

  • Attracts local youth to explore the possibilities linked to schooling and careers in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
  • Inspires parents and educators to encourage pursuit of STEM educational choices for young people
  • Enhances awareness of the region as a premier locale for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics career opportunities.
