Building Regional Clusters and Competencies
Project Description
This program is designed to build strong networks to form new relationships and create new opportunities within industry competency sectors and across competencies. Efforts include convening inter-network discussions aimed at establishing a collaborative technology council across Upstate New York, and supporting International trade and supporting the development of related expertise in the region.
Primary focus is on Optics & Imaging, Biotechnology, Food & Agriculture, Alternative Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, Information Technology clusters.
Outcome from Using the Product
Development of trust and collaboration across member organizations and between individual businesses that increases opportunities in-industry sectors as well as opening new, cross-industry / cross-competency opportunities.
