Nowadays, smartphones have become an integral part of people’s lives. I think, the most of us possess a smartphone or at least consider a possibility of buying one. For these people, this article may be of special use. In this article, I will describe how to choose a good, reliable and high-quality smartphone meeting all your requirements and allowing you to enjoy all novelties of mobile application development.

1. Data input.
You have surely noticed that the most smartphones have large touch screens and only minimum or no physical buttons at all. Apple and iPhone are those whom we have to thank for this tendency. However, touch screen is not the only option to operate your phone. A physical keyboard is still actual for those people who communicate a lot and need to quickly type their messages. In this case, physical buttons are much more convenient. A large touch screen is for those who is interested in the last tendencies of Android and iOS mobile game development, or who watches movies and videos on their smartphones. As for me, touch screen is exactly what I need, and that’s why my smartphone replaces me a tablet PC.

2. Price.
I think it’s the most significant point we face when choosing a smartphone. Almost everyone would buy a shining new iPhone 5, but for its price? I’ve had a low cost smartphone once, and I can say that it’s only an opportunity to take a look at what a smarthone is and how it works. On high segment smart phones like iPhones or Samsung Galaxy III or Samsung Galaxy Note, it’s not a problem at all, but you have to pay a really high price for them. A good compromise could be middle class smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Ace. They would make you happy both with their price and performance.
3. Operational system.

There are many OS at the mobile market. An application development company can choose between Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and BlackBerry. The most popular OS that have occupied the mobile application development market are Android and iOS. And that’s the point where the most lances were broken. It is almost impossible to convince a true Android fan that iOS has many advantages, and vice versa.

Android is a free operational system with a lot of mobile applications placed in Google Play. It is known due to home screen where you can place a lot of convenient and nice widgets. But of course, you’ll have the most pleasure from it on a high-performance smartphone.

iOS was originally created for iPhones, and that’s why it perfectly suits its hardware. iPhone mobile applications are located in AppStorel. But as for me, I really miss the home screen with widgets. iOS strong side is its easy-for-use and usability. A weak point is a very inconvenient way to connect the phone to your PC using iTunes.
